Pay and schedule
You move up through four pay tiers: at placement, then at 2, 5, and 7 months (4, 10, and 14 pay periods). All tiers are subject to performance review. We share exact rates on your phone call.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. There are no employee benefits: no health insurance, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, or workers’ compensation. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and timesheet reporting. If you are seeking W-2 employment, this is not the right role.

This role is for the LMT who thinks of massage as medicine, someone who wants to be a clinical practitioner, not just a service provider. You will work directly alongside chiropractors and physical therapists as a peer contributor to patient care plans.

Clinical Massage Therapist

What you'll do
Provide massage therapy as a prescribed component of patient care plans
Collaborate directly with chiropractors and PTs on shared patient outcomes
Apply clinical modalities: deep tissue, myofascial release, sports, neuromuscular, and trigger point
Maintain session documentation per clinic protocol
Self-manage your schedule, timesheets, and independent contractor obligations
Requirements
Active NC LMT license in good standing
Professional liability insurance: $1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate (self-carried)
Reliable transportation to partner clinics in the Charlotte area
Willingness to complete background screening and HIPAA orientation
